Welcome to Ortega PCA!

Ortega Presbyterian is a diverse group of people bound together by God’s Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ. The good news of God’s Son has and is making us to be a worshiping community in covenant with God and with one another on mission to make disciples of Christ. Our congregation reflects the diversity of peoples in our city but also our unity in the faith once for all delivered to the saints.

The church is located in the Old Ortega neighborhood of Jacksonville; just off Roosevelt Blvd and halfway between downtown Jax and Orange Park on Jacksonville’s near west side. Ortega Pres is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Our worship is saturated with Scripture. We seek to read the Word, hear the Word, preach the Word, sing the Word, and see the Word in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We desire that our worship be biblical, Spirit-filled, reverent, joyful, and hospitable to those who join us.
